[Billy is reading the Breeding manual … or rather, he's at least trying to. He gives up after a minutes, as none of it made sense to him. Only thing he knew was that he got to have an apron – which, by the way, was too big for him – to wear. He also knew that he was supposed to take care of Pokémon eggs .]

I don’t understand half the stuff they put in this book. ..
How are Pokémon made? Don’t they just show up as egg in little nests? Do they have a gold glow when they’re ready to hatch?
[He scratches his head in puzzlement.]

Why don’t you use the eggs to roll over some of the other Pokémon? That should make them hatch right away, right? [He thankfully hasn’t found an egg to practice this theory on.]

Oh and what does breeding mean?

I don't know, this book says I'm one but I don't even know what breeding is.

Breeding's when a mommy Pokemon and a daddy Pokemon have a bunch of baby Pokemon!

[Billy gapes in complete awe of this information]

WOW Really! So I need to find a mommy and daddy pokémon. SO they can make babies. ALRIGHT!

Where do I find a mommy and daddy pokémon from? [He thinks she's talking about a species of pokémon.]

Umm...just catch one and the Pokegear thingie will tell you if it's a mommy Pokemon or a daddy Pokemon!

You gotta get both of 'em!

So then what do I do.

Um, well... usually you need two animals of the same kind to get an egg. And then you just keep them warm and safe. They start shaking and making noises when they're ready to hatch. They usually don't glow.

You probably shouldn't roll them around. Especially on other Pokemon.

Why not, it actually helps them hatch back in morning land.

Really? I've never seen anyone roll an egg around like that.

Two books... [The teen is up fully now, walking over to the blonde boy and crouching down to his height.]

Really? [He pauses, he he notes that the book does look different than his own.]

Billy, let me see the book.

Okay Silver! [He happily hands it over to older boy.]

[Silver rubs the back of his neck with his right hand, slightly uncomfortable with the enthusiasm from the younger boy, but takes the book with his left hand nevertheless.

He flips open the book haphazardly and skims over the pictures and words, a slight confused frown forming on his face.]
