rooster_shoutHello people out in the world! [He happily waves at the camera.] I was wondering if any of you is a super awesome cook!
I need help with something making, but the adults say I'm not suppose to use knives and the oven. I really want to make lots of yummy things for Thanksgiving.
[He sits down a pulls out a sheet of paper.]
I'll be super prepared I have a list!
So the foods I want to make are: green stuff, sweet potatoes, pumpkin bread, toasted pumpkin seeds, gingerbread, stuffing, gravy, bread rolls, green beans, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, apple pie, some kind of casserole thingy and....[Was he missing anything? He actually sits there for a few minutes pondering that when it come to him.] AND A TURKEY!
I think there is a bunch more things, I'll just put them on the list when I think of them!

Date: 2012-11-09 08:00 am (UTC)Yeah, normally you have a bunch of food. You have to feed everyone that comes to the dinner, and if you have stuff left over, then you'll have food for the rest of the month. [It was a win win sitution.]

Why not just cook enough for who'll be there, though? I know preserving food is easier here, but if anything goes bad, it'll be a huge waste.

You can't be sure how much everyone will eat so you have to make a lot. Good thing is that you'd have way way less food by the time it's over. It's normally gone in week or less.
